Negotiatus allows businesses to completely control spend through approvals and budgets. Budgets allow administrators to limit overspending and set budgets for users, cost centers, locations and individual products. Users can create and edit budgets from the Budgeting tab on the Manage Organization page.
There are several options on this page for setting budget preferences:
- User Budgets - Set budgets for each individual user and how often their budget resets.
- Cost Center Budgets - Add or edit budget totals and adjust how often the budget resets by cost center.
- Product Price Budget - Any item that is purchased over the price set in this box will trigger an approval request from the Admin/Approver.
- Location Budgets - Set a budget for each location. Orders sent to that location will count towards the budget.
Click update after changes have been made to save.
Only users with the Approval and Budgeting Permission will have access to this tab.
